Three New Preschools Near Completion in 2168

Sydney-Middle East Times Int'l:Three new public preschools at Cartwright, Heckenberg and Miller Public Schools are nearing completion, bringing high-quality, fee-free early learning closer to families across the 2168 area.
Expressions of interest are now open for the three preschools.
The Minns Labor Government opened the first of its 100 new public preschools at Gulyangarri Public School in Liverpool CBD in 2024. A fifth public preschool in the Liverpool electorate is currently under construction at Cecil Hills.
Together, these five new preschools represent a major expansion of access to public early education for children and families across the Liverpool electorate.
Located within existing public school grounds, the new preschools will help children become familiar with their school communities and support a smoother transition from preschool to kindergarten.
Co-location will also make daily life easier for families—particularly those with older children attending the same school—by simplifying drop-off and pick-up arrangements.
Each preschool will feature purpose-built learning areas, staff facilities, a kitchen, amenities and landscaped outdoor spaces.
The five preschools form part of the Minns Labor Government’s historic $769 million investment to deliver 100 new public preschools across NSW.
The program will double the number of public preschools in the state and provide more than 9,000 children with access to fee-free, high-quality early education in their local communities.
