Mario Aoun says Jumblatt wants 'weak' Christians in Shouf

Lebanon - "Democratic Gathering Leader Walid Jumblatt wants Christians in Shouf region to be weak, while the Free Patriotic Movement has struggled to restore their values and dignity," MP Mario Aoun said on Saturday in an interview with "Free Lebanon" Radio Station.

Commenting on the FPM-Democratic Gathering relations, MP Aoun deemed that "there is no problem with them," stressing that the FPM follows the policy of openness with all political parties.

Finally, the lawmaker hoped to resume this tenure with the formation of an all-inclusive national unity government.
