RIYADH:  The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) received at the Royal Court in Al Yamamah Palace on Tuesday His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmood al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers.

HH Sayyid Fahd conveyed the greetings and best wishes of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos to King Salman on the occasion of him pledging allegiance as a King of the sisterly KSA, and the brotherly Saudi people further progress.

On his turn, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed his utmost thanks and appreciations for His Majesty the Sultan’s sincere feelings and best wishes to him and the Saudi people, wishing His Majesty good health and happiness and the Omani people further progress and prosperity.

The meeting reviewed the strong fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and means of enhancing them in various spheres to serve the interests of the two brotherly countries and  peoples.

The meeting also discussed the situations at the regional and international arenas as well as exchanging viewpoints on a number of issues of common concern.

The meeting was attended by Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs,  and Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications.

It was also attended from the Saudi side by Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz al Saud, KSA Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, Prince Muteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard, Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Foreign Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defence, President of the Royal Court and Special Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Dr Musaed bin Mohammed Al Aiban, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers and Dr Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz al Assaf, Minister of Finance.

It is worth mentioning that HH Sayyid Fahd arrived in Riyadh Air Base on Tuesday as Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz al Saud, KSA Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister led the welcoming delegation.

An official welcoming ceremony was accorded to HH Sayyid Fahd. Then, they exchanged cordial conversations on the existing good relations between the two brotherly countries, besides matters of common concern.

Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz al Saud, Crown Prince hosted a luncheon in honour of Sayyid Fahd and his accompanying delegation. The luncheon was attended by a number of their highnesses, excellencies and senior figures in the KSA. After the talks, HH Sayyid Fahd left Riyadh in the evening as he was seen off by Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz al Saud.
