South Korean President ends official visit to Kuwait KUWAIT: South Korean President Park Geunhye concluded yesterday her three-day official visit to Kuwait on an invitation from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al- Jaber Al-Sabah. The Korean leader was seen off at Kuwait international airport by HH the Amir, HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Speaker of the National Assembly Marzouq Al-Ghanim, HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Minister of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Ali Jarah Al-Sabah, in addition to senior officials from the army, police, and Kuwait National Guard. Danish PM Meanwhile, HH the Amir received at the Amiri Terminal Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt and the accompanying delegation. A meeting was held between the two sides, focusing on bilateral relations, issues of mutual interest, and developments within the regional and international spheres. HH the Crown Prince, HH the Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister, Deputy Minister of the Amiri Diwan, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al- Mubarak Al-Sabah, and head of the honorary delegation and Advisor at the Prime Minister’s Diwan Sheikha Dr Rasha Humoud Al-Jaber Al- Sabah attended the meeting Graduation ceremony In other news, HH the Amir is set to attend the 2013-14 graduation ceremony for excelling students at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) today. The ceremony starts at 10:30 am and takes place at the College of Basic Education Theater in Ardiya. |
