Help us to help you – two key annual Council surveys go live 15 October 2025 (See translation in Arabic section) Sydney-Middle East Times Int'l: It’s time to have your say on Council’s services, facilities and programs as part of the 2025 Community Satisfaction Survey and Business Survey. The results from the annual surveys help shape Council’s priorities each year, so this is a chance for residents and businesses to share their feedback and ideas. City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Martin Zaiter said it’s about listening to the community to continue to deliver on the top priorities. ”Your feedback helps us identify where Council can do better and allows us to prioritise what you want most for the future,” Cr Zaiter said. More than 1,950 people responded to the 2024 Community Satisfaction Survey which showed an overall increase in satisfaction with Council’s investment in the local community. From the data collected, residents said they were happier with Council’s recycling efforts, as well as the City’s public and green spaces, events and festivals. Residents also valued new public facilities including PHIVE and the Parramatta Aquatic Centre. While Council received a significant amount of positive feedback, residents also shared that they wanted to make contact with Council easier, as well as improvements with the maintenance of local roads and parking in commercial centres. “Last year’s survey helped drive the evolution of Council’s new Customer Transformation Plan, while giving us the impetus to upgrade and reduce the cost of parking at Parramatta Station and Junction Precinct car parks,” Cr Zaiter said. Meanwhile, Council’s annual business survey, a key gauge of how Council is serving business needs, is also now open. “If we’re going to continue growing our economy and ensuring businesses thrive, we need to understand how we can make business interactions with Council easier to improve efficiency and stimulate the local economy,” Cr Zaiter said.
