Sydney-Middle East Times Int'l: A Liberal Senator has accused one of her colleagues of cowardice as well as mistreating her in response to comments she made about Indian migration.
Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price has refused to apologise for her controversial comments about Indian migrants despite pressure from within her own party.
Private frustration about her remarks is now being aired publicly as the Opposition Leader tries to limit the damage.
The Northern Territory Senator was contacted by Liberal MP Alex Hawke after she suggested that the Labor Party “likes to allow those (people) in … who ultimately vote for them”. |
