The Australian Government is making a mockery of Australia internationally

The Australian Government is making a mockery of Australia internationally

Australia's most zealous supporter and defender of Israel's occupation, crimes and racial discrimination against the Palestinian people, Michael Danby, said today on ABC radio commenting on the Australian parliamentary delegation meeting with the Dalai Lama that the aim of the meeting is humanitarian and human rights!! Speak of double-standard and hypocrisy.

We did not hear of China sending F16s, Apache helicopters and heavy tanks to bombard and kill Tibetan children and civilians in their homes and refugee centres as Israel did in its latest war crime against Gaza in which in three weeks it killed 1410 people, among them 1032 civilians, 355 children and 110 women.

What would the world say when Australia refuses to condemn this crime against humanity on the one hand and sends someone like Danby on the other hand to lead its parliamentary delegation and claim its interested in the fate of humanity and the defence of human rights? Unless the government believes that Palestinians do not belong to the human race and Israel is above international law and legalities. With such a double-standard and hypocrisy who will take Australia seriously?
