WHO to open permanent office in Kuwait - MoH

KUWAIT- World Health Organization (WHO) official office opening ceremony will be held on Tuesday, Ministry of Health said Sunday.

This came in a press release after a meeting between Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Basel Al-Sabah and representative of WHO in Kuwait Dr. Assad Hafeez, on the occasion of taking office.

The meeting highlighted the mutual and manners of enhancing relations between Kuwait and the WHO.

Dr. Hafeez conveyed regards of WHO's Regional Director Ahmed Al-Mandhari and his appreciation towards the positive relations between both sides.

Director of the WHO's international healthcare relations Dr. Rehab Al-Wotayan attended the meeting.
