EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST NOW OPEN
Hello Community Leaders
The Stronger Communities Programme provides each of the 151 Federal electorates with $150,000 (in grants from $2500 to $20 000) to fund small capital projects. These projects aim to improve local community participation and contribute to vibrant viable communities. Federal Members of Parliament (MPs) identify potential projects and invite applications from their electorate.

• In order to identify suitable projects, I’m asking organisations to submit expressions of interest to my office no later than 5pm Monday, February 1. Use this link: https://julieowens.com.au/sc2021

• Expressions of interest will be assessed by our Local Consultative Committee, a selected number will be invited to apply to the department. We’ll advise if you’re proceeding to the next stage by Monday, February 22

• Those selected to progress will need to submit completed applications by Monday, March 22
