LAF Chief signs agreement with French counterpart

Lebanon - - The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief, General Joseph Aoun, on Friday welcomed in Yarzeh French Army Commander, Francois Lecointre, accompanied by French Ambassador to Lebanon, Anne Grillo, and a French delegation.

Discussions focused on the existing relations between the Lebanese and French armies, and on the best ways to strengthen them.

Both sides signed an understanding aimed at developing the potential of the Lebanese army.
