Prince Alwaleed, Chairman of Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation Donates $100,000 to Children’s Foundation, Seychelles

HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation*, donated $100,000 to the Children’s Home Foundation for small projects in the Republic of Seychelles.

The donation was made during Prince Alwaleed and HH Princess Ameerah Altaweel, Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation visit to the Republic of Seychelles. During the visit the Princess handed the donation to Mrs. Natalie Michel, the First Lady of Seychelles in the presence of His Excellency Present James Michel.

The Children’s Home Foundation was founded in 2006 and Chaired by the First Lady of the Seychelles. The foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit charitable organization. It is committed to delivering effective, financial and social aid to children in need and their families.

Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation – Lebanon works internationally to tackle poverty, provide rapid aid in cases of natural disasters and provide women and youth in the MENA region with economic and educational opportunities through strategic philanthropic investments in sustainable projects of the Foundation’s various partner organizations.  The Foundation also aims to reframe perceptions of Islam and the West through dialogue, programs and educational centers around the world in order to promote a greater understanding between the different faiths and world views.
