KFAED, Kuwait celebrate anniversary of 48 years

2/24/2010

KUWAIT-- The establishment of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) 48 years ago coincided with the year of which the country gained its independence.

KFAED has always worked for world's development, Director General of KFAED Abdulwahab Al-Bader said, noting that the fund was providing countries with loans even during the Iraqi invasion.

As Kuwait is celebrating its National Day and Liberation anniversary, "we proudly recall sincere contributions for those who worked for the independence of the country and its advancement," he said.

He congratulated His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and the people of Kuwait on the occasion and hoped for the advancement and prosperity of the country.
