Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation Donates $250,000 to University of Dodoma in Tanzania

Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation* chaired by HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, donated $250,000 for the construction of University of Dodoma, Dodoma City in Tanzania. The donation was made in response to a request by President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete.

HRH visited Tanzania in 2006 and met with President Kikwete at the State House. During the visit, Prince Alwaleed was presented with an honorary citizenship and a golden "Key to the City of Dar Es Salaam" by Mayor of the city, Mr. Adam Kimbisa in an official ceremony of investiture.

Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation – Lebanon works internationally to tackle poverty, provide rapid aid in cases of natural disasters and provide women and youth in the MENA region with economic and educational opportunities through strategic philanthropic investments in sustainable projects of the Foundation’s various partner organizations.
