Prince Alwaleed bin Talal visits the Republic of French Polynesia and meets with His Excellency the President

His Royal Highness Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company, visited the Republic of French Polynesia where he met the President of the Republic of French Polynesia His Excellency Mr. Malam Bacai Sanha, and the First Lady, in the presence of his wife Her Highness Princess Ameerah Altaweel Vice-President of the Board of Trustees of Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation. His Highness was accompanied by a delegation of Kingdom Holding Company and Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation.

Upon the arrival of Prince Alwaleed to the Republic of French Polynesia he was welcomed at the presidential palace where he met the President Mr. Malam Bacai Sanha and the First Lady the meeting was attended by the Vise President, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Tourism, Minister of the Environment and a number of Ministers.

During the meeting, His Excellency the President and the Prince addressed various topics focused on mutual economic and investment opportunities between the two countries and means of cooperation. They also discussed investment opportunities available in French Polynesia, especially in the hotel sector and the operations that are under Kingdom Holding Company “KHC”.

Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal current investments are through Kingdom Holding Company in the Republic of French Polynesia, and are situated in the island of Bora Bora, where the Four Seasons Hotel is operating.

French Polynesia is located in the South Pacific and is a part of France which is made of five Polynesian archipelagos, the most famous island is Tahiti and the total number of islands is about 130. Among the most important natural resources is timber, fish, and cobalt.
