The death of George Naim Khattar shocked the Australian Lebanese community

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 6 at 10.30am in the Church of Our Lady of Lebanon, 40 Alice Street, Harris Park.

The death of young businessman George Naim Khattar has shaken the Lebanese community in Australia and Lebanon. He was considered to be highly ethical and honest in addition to his assistance to charities and humanity causes.

The departure of George Naim Khattar has been felt in his village Hadchit, Lebanon and in the Lebanese community in Australia. He was regarded as an exemplary figure who grew up in a generous family on the principles of faith, piety, goodness, generosity and sacrifice.

George has contributed in building and to the prosperity of Australia through his  responsibilities in construction, trade and investment in Dyldam one of the largest construction companies in Australia, which he participated in founding with its first inception with his brother Joe Khattar the Chairman of the Australian Lebanese Chamber of Commerce.
