Prince Alwaleed Receives Ambassador of Nepal to Saudi Arabia Who Extends Invitation to HRH to Visit the Country

HRH Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), received at his office, His Excellency Mr. Hamid Ansari, Nepalese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Nahla Alanbar, Executive Personal Assistant to HRH the Chairman and Mrs. Halla Angawi, Assistant Executive Manager, International Projects, Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation.

The meeting began as Mr. Ansari thanked the Prince for giving him the opportunity to meet with him. Moreover, HRH and the Ambassador discussed a number of social and economic issues related to their respective countries. Mr. Ansari described the living standards of the Nepalese people and said that approximately 70% were below the poverty line and thanked the government of Saudi Arabia for opening the doors for Nepalese workers in the country.

Moreover, the Nepalese Ambassador commended him on his many philanthropic activities, locally, regionally and internationally to people in need. Furthermore, Mr. Ansari extended an invitation to His Highness to visit Nepal.

In response, Prince Alwaleed promised to visit the country in the near future. In addition, the Prince thanked the ambassador for his visit and expressed his cordial regards to the government and people of the Nepal.
