Sydney - Middle East Times Int'l: Saudi Arabia praised, on Friday, the phone call that took place between US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, on February 12, and the announcement of the possibility of holding a summit that brings them together in the Kingdom.
A statement from the Saudi Foreign Ministry expressed its welcome for holding the summit in the Kingdom, stressing its continued efforts to achieve lasting peace between Russia and Ukraine, which began since the outbreak of the crisis, as Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Saudi Arabia, expressed, during his call on March 3, 2022, with both President Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the Kingdom's readiness to make its good efforts to reach a political solution to the crisis.
Saudi Arabia has continued these efforts over the past three years, including hosting many meetings in this regard.
