Sydney-Middle East Times Int'l:
  The Lebanese Army Command announced that "in continuation of the statement related to issuing orders to military units to respond to sources of fire launched from Syrian territory and targeting Lebanese territory, shelling operations have been repeated in its history on Lebanese areas adjacent to the eastern border, while army units continue to respond with appropriate weapons."
It indicated in a statement that "the units are also implementing exceptional security measures along these borders, including establishing observation points, conducting patrols, and setting up temporary barriers," stressing that "the army command is following the situation and is working to take appropriate measures according to developments."
