Makhzoumi: For a mini-government that gains the confidence of the House of Representatives and formulates a ministerial statement in line with the nature of the phase 23/1/2025 (See translation in Arabic section) Sydney-Middle East Times Int'l: MP Fouad Makhzoumi wrote on the "X" platform: "I repeat today what I had proposed to the Prime Minister-designate Nawaf Salam during the non-binding parliamentary consultations, when I stressed the need to form a mini-rescue government composed of 14 ministers of specialists and competent people, provided that it enjoys exceptional powers that enable it to lead the difficult stage burdened with crises. The future government must reflect the aspirations of the Lebanese and meet their ambitions, especially since it will face great challenges and responsibilities, starting with the unprecedented economic, social and living crises that we are suffering from, passing through the issue of depositors' funds and the crime of the Beirut Port explosion and the forensic audit of the accounts of the Central Bank of Lebanon and state ministries and institutions, reaching the reconstruction file and ensuring the implementation of Resolution 1701 and consolidating the ceasefire agreement. We look forward to forming a mini-government that gains the confidence of the House of Representatives and formulates a ministerial statement in line with the nature of the delicate stage that We are going through it in Lebanon, in addition to the fact that the foundations of this statement are based on the constitution and the Taif Agreement. |
