Al-Bisari: I am going to the UNHCR to hand over the data of the displaced without preconditions
June 1, 2023
The Acting Director General of Public Security, Major General Elias Al-Bisari, revealed that "the challenges are growing day by day, foremost of which is the issue of the displaced, and they must be addressed according to a practical plan in coordination with the Syrian government and the international community."
He went to the officials of the United Nations organization (UNHCR) in order to hand over the special data to the displaced Syrians without preconditions, adding: "I confirm that the General Security is keen on this data, and we do not accept access to the data of any foreigner in our country."
Al-Bisari announced during a ceremony at the Public Security Directorate, "Passports are secured for all, and there is no need to rush to Public Security centers," stressing work on tasks no matter how difficult the difficulties are.
