Sydney – Middle East Times Int’l: The cause for the canonization of Brother Estephan Nehme has taken a new and important step after Father Paul Kazzi, the official in charge of the cause, submitted two miracle files to the relevant Vatican authorities during his trip to Rome last week.
Father Kazzi held a series of meetings with the presiding cardinal, the secretary, and several officials and staff members of the Vatican Congregation for the Study of Miracles and Causes of Saints, where the latest developments regarding the cause for the canonization of Brother Estephan Nehme were presented, and the procedures required to complete the review of the documents and medical file were discussed.

During the meetings, Father Paul Kazzi, the official in charge of the cause of his canonization, formally presented two miracles attributed to the intercession of the late Brother Estephan Nehme, in preparation for their rigorous medical, scientific, and theological review, in accordance with the strict standards adopted by the Vatican for studying miracles.
The relevant authorities requested a number of documents and detailed medical reports related to the two miracles. Consequently, the medical file was handed over to the specialist physician for scientific study and evaluation.
Now, with great hope, many of the faithful are optimistic that the outcome will be positive, representing a significant step forward in the cause of the canonization of Brother Estephan Nehme.
