Lebanese President Michel Aoun receives Qatar's Emir Qarar's Amir arrives in Beirut 20 Jan 2019 Beirut: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived in Lebanon to participate in the fourth edition of the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit, to be held Sunday in the capital Beirut. Lebanese President Michel Aoun led the well-wishers to welcome the Amir and the accompanying delegation on arrival at Rafic Hariri International Airport. The Amir and the accompanying delegation were welcomed by Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Gebran Bassil, Lebanese Minister of State for Presidency Affairs Dr Pierre Raffoul, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul-Gheit, Ambassador of Qatar to Lebanon Mohammed Hassan Al Jaber, Ambassador of Lebanon to Qatar Hassan Najem and a number of senior Lebanese officials. The Amir was accorded an official reception ceremony.
Lebanese President Michel Aoun received the personal representative of Sultan Qaboos Senior Arab Officials arrive in Lebanon 19/01/2019 BEIRUT-- Senior Arab officials started on Saturday arrival in Lebanon to participate in the 4th Arab Development, Economic and Social Summit due in Beirut tomorrow. Lebanese President Michel Aoun welcomed the senior officials to Rafic Hariri International Airport, as he received the personal representative of Sultan Qaboos, Deputy Prime Minister of Relations and International Cooperation Asad Bin Tariq. His Highness the Amir's envoy Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah flew to Beirut earlier today to represent His Highness the Amir at the summit. Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, is accompanied by an official delegation including Finance Minister Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf, Director General of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) Abdulwahab Al-Badr, Assistant Foreign Minister for the Bureau's Affairs of Deputy Premier Foreign Minister Ambassador Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, and other senior officials. |
