TENENTI: Separate Meetings For Lebanon And Israel Representatives in New York

Lebanon - UNIFIL spokesperson, Andrea Tenenti, indicated in a statement on Thursday, that the UN headquarters in New York organized a series of separate preliminary meetings with the permanent representatives of Lebanon and Israel to the UN, in order to hear their viewpoints on the Security Council's resolution 1701 which aims to preserve stability along the Blue Line.

The statement also indicated that UNIFIL General Commander, Major General Stefano Del Col, met with UN Chief Antonio Guterres.
