Kuwait wins two bronzes at Asian open judo tourney

BEIRUT-- The Kuwaiti team grabbed two bronze medals on Sunday at the end of the Asian Open Men and Women 2022 judo championship.
Ghannam Al-Daikan won the bronze in the -100kg category after beating France's Marc Kodojan, while Hamad Al-Rashed won the medal in +100kg contest by defeating Lebanon's Yohanna Touma.
Speaking to KUNA, Al-Daikan said the tournament witnessed a major challenge and was an opportunity to meet players from different countries, lauding good organization of the event.
Kuwait's Mishal Al-Ali and Habib Mohammad under 60kgsm, Nasser al-Mutairi -80kgs, Al-Daikan -100kgs and Al-Rashed +100kgs took part in the event.
