Bassil denies meeting with Israeli officials over maritime border demarcation

Lebanon - The media office of the head of the Free Patriotic Movement, MP Gebran Bassil, categorically denied this afternoon what was circulated on the website of the Israel Broadcasting Corporation about "Bassil's meetings with Israeli officials on the issue of demarcation of the maritime borders."

The media office confirmed that "this suspicious news comes in an Israeli context that aims to disrupt the ongoing negotiations, and also reflects a personal targeting of Bassil, in participation of the Israeli lying machine and its tools inside Lebanon”.
