Kuwait FM heads delegation in Arab talks on Al-Nahda dam

DOHA-- Kuwait Foreign Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Mohammad Al-Sabah headed on Tuesday the Kuwaiti delegation participating in an Arab Foreign Ministers' meeting that addressed the file of Al-Nahda dam in response to a request by Egypt and Sudan.

The Kuwaiti minister and his Arab peers tackled latest developments related to recent negotiations, held among Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia, as well as the Arab League support for the an aspired just accord among the concerned parties with respect of rules governing the filling and operating of the Ethiopian dam, on basis of international laws and principles.

Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser has joined his Arab counterparts in the Qatari capital to discuss Arab affairs namely the Palestinian cause.

Earlier today, Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim Al-Thani met with the Arab foreign ministers taking part in the meeting.
