Re the occupation and Israeli terrorism in Palestine

I write not to ask about your health or your trouble with the law.  If the allegations are correct, then you are just one of many people in this world who have taken advantage of their position and pilfered for their own perceived material benefit, these things are of little interest, they don’t set you apart from the rat race.

I write to thank you for your monumental efforts to unite humanity against your terrorist state.  I write to thank you for outing the spineless leaders who are doing the usual lip-service cowing before your terrorism.

I am not grieving for your victims who just over the last 8 days number 197 martyrs (including 60 children, 34 women and 20 elderly) and over 1235 wounded (including 320 children and 206 women). I know that each and every one of your murder victims has gone to a better place, for our martyrs are in Heaven and your dead will continue to torment more in death than they did in this life.

My colleagues have written asking their “leaders” to condemn and deplore your terrorism and to help the beleaguered long-suffering most-courageous Palestinian people – I will not be joining them.

I only write to thank you for awaking the giant, for as the Palestinian David is using David’s rocks and slingshot to hit your Israeli terrorist Goliath, another giant is rising from its slumber and as the late Palestinian poet Dr Abdurrahman Baroud said: on this day … the slaves will be liberated and burnt will be Nero.

You are right, Israel will not survive to celebrate its 80th, thank you for your efforts to bring the Israeli occupation to an end.
