Kuwait relief society to reconstruct 4 schools in Yemen

11/04/2021

ADEN-- Kuwait Society for Relief and Yemen's education ministry signed an agreement to reconstruct and provide furniture to four schools in southern Yemen, as part of the (Kuwait Besides You) campaign.

During the signing ceremony on Sunday, the ministry's undersecretary Dr Mohammad Basleem hailed Kuwait's continuous support to the educational field in Yemen, including reconstructing many schools, providing caravans to serve as temporary classrooms and aiding in printing of school books.

On his part, deputy head of the society's office in Yemen Dr Adel Bashin said the project is part of Kuwait's efforts to revive the educational field in Yemen, which had been badly affected by the war.
