RAHI: Lift your hands off the government and release it

18/10/2020

KUWAIT-- Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rahi presided over Sunday Mass service in Bkirki this morning, in the presence of political, social figures and believers.

In his sermon, Rahi criticized the delay in forming the government, asking: "Who among you has the luxury of time to postpone the parliamentary consultations and the government formation?"

The Prelate called on concerned parties to lift their hands off forming the government and release it for the sake of the country.

Rahi pointed out that "the revolution succeeded in restoring the pulse to the Lebanese people, uniting a Lebanese generation, and promoting the peaceful concept of change without weapons." However, he stressed that the revolution requires having goals, a program and leadership

Finally, he asserted that "no one is innocent of Lebanon's bloodshed."
