US Embassy Spokesperson to NNA denies rumors that embassy is calling on nationals to leave Lebanon

Lebanon  - US Embassy spokesperson in Beirut, Casey Bonfield, on Wednesday denied in a statement to the National News Agency a number of rumors that have been going viral on social media platforms claiming that the US embassy in Beirut has called on its nationals across Lebanese territories to leave the country before the 19th of July, 2020.

 The social networking sites have also been spreading fake news claiming that the United Nations organizations in Lebanon have informed their international staff to start preparing their travel documents.
