Zohour Rizk: She gave, sacrificed and has now left us

Translation appears in Arabic section)

The Lebanese community has lost a virtuous lady, Zohour Rizk, Widow of the late Toufic Rizk from Ras-Baalbek. The news of her death left a great sadness in the family.

Many have known (OUM Michael) the woman as one who gave and sacrificed in silence and has become an example of faith, goodness and humanity.

Her generosity cannot be erased from memory. She is the mother who raised a family with her companion on the noblest qualities, ethics and virtues. Her family today is a shining example to society.

Since the announcement of her obituary, the mourners started contacting the Rizk family to offer their condolences and stand by her children: Michael and Joe Rizk and their families, Josephine wife of Khalil Droubi, Jeanette wife of Nabil Rahme and

Odette wife of Jonathon Shahady and their families.

In this deep sorrow and irreparable loss, the Middle East Times extends its deep condolences to the Rizk family, in particular her son Michael Rizk (International Relations Officer at the Australian-Lebanese Chamber of Commerce), son Joe Rizk (The CEO of Arab Bank Australia), and all members of the noble family. We ask for God’s mercy for the deceased and patience and comfort to them.

The family will accept condolences Tuesday and Wednesday June 18 -19 from (6pm to 9pm) in the hall of St. John's Melkite Catholic Church (80 Waterloo Road Greenacre).

The funeral will take place on Thursday, June 20th, at 10 am at St. Charbel Church in Punchbowl.
