BASSIL FROM KOURA: We Insist on a Better Budget Even if it Requires Time

18 May 2019

Lebanon - Foreign Minister, Gebran Bassil, on Saturday maintained that he insists on a better budget "even if it requires more time," stressing that his action is for the sake of Lebanon and the Lebanese.

"We are working to launch reforms through the budget and we are proposing solutions," Bassil said.

"We insist on reaching a better budget even if it requires more time," he added.

"When this juncture ends, you will realize that what we are doing is for the sake of Lebanon and the Lebanese," he underlined.

Bassil made these remarks during a tour he conducted in the northern district of Koura.
