Man remains in custody over murder of Aiia Maasarwe

A 20-year-old man remains in custody after he was charged with the rape and murder after exchange student Aiia Maasarwe. The 21-year-old's body was found in bushes outside Bundoora shopping centre on Wednesday morning. Codey Hermann didn't apply for bail after appearing in Melbourne Magistrate's Court on Saturday. The young woman's father Saeed Maasarwe has welcomed the charges being laid over his daughter's death.
