Daley Labor Government will waive the $58 fee for NSW birth certificates.

Dear Camil,

Like many parents, my wife Christina and I were excited to welcome our little ones into the world.

We had expenses - prams, nappies, cots, car seats to buy, and the list goes on.

Christina and I know that every dollar counts.

That is why today, I have announced that a Daley Labor Government will waive the $58 fee for NSW birth certificates.

To give parents of around 100,000 babies born across NSW a bit more to spend on essentials.

This is just one part of our Labor Lightening the Load policies, which includes:

  • Free public transport for school children

  • Refunds for train commuters when there is an avoidable delay

  • Cashback on the M4 to help pay for the unfair toll

While the Berejiklian-Barilaro Government continues to squander billions of dollars on vanity projects, Labor will put you and your family first.

Michael Daley
NSW Labor Leader
