BASSIL BOUND FOR EGYPT, THEN OMAN AND QATAR

Lebanon - Delegated by President Michel Aoun, Caretaker Foreign Minister, Gebran Bassil, left Beirut on Monday bound for Cairo to extend an invitation to Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah Sissi, to attend the socio-economic summit scheduled to take place in Beirut in January.

Minister Bassil will also travel to the Sultanate of Oman and Qatar to deliver similar invitations to Sultan Kabous Ben Said and Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.

Basil will hold meetings with his counterparts from the three countries and discuss with them bilateral political and economic relations and the most recent regional political developments.
