Prime Minister cancels COAG meeting

The Prime Minister has cancelled an upcoming Council of Australian Governments meeting after the fallout from last month leadership spill hindered the government’s ability to finalise funding deals. Scott Morrison called the Premiers and Chief Ministers last night to cancel the October 4 meeting. A planned December 12 meeting will go ahead as the funding deals on drought, education and health are expected to be finalised by then.
