Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed receives military delegation

The group of military men, artists and others visited armed forces units outside the country during Eid al-Fitr

Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, received a delegation of military men, artists and others who visited armed forces units outside the country during Eid Al Fitr.

The Crown Prince welcomed the delegation, which also included top officials, FNC members, media personnel, poets and sportspeople, praising their initiative to visit the members of the armed forces, who perform their duties with “sacrifice, determination, courage and efficiency”.

He also stressed the UAE leadership's keenness on "instilling the value of loyalty, recalling acts of bravery and the sacrifices of Emirati soldiers to enhance the will of the country’s citizens to protect the UAE and its gains".

The delegation conveyed the greetings of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Mohammed to officers, non-commissioned officers and the members of armed forces during the Eid visit.

They also wished them a safe return, expressing their gratitude and pride in their achievements.

The ceremony at Al Bahr Palace was also attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed, the Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, and Sheikh Isa bin Zayed.
