Times Int'l) Rome: A meeting was held at the Italian Military Command headquarters, in frame of the Rome II meeting, which included Major General Imad Osman, the Internal Security Forces Director General and General Claudio Graziano, Chief of the Italian Defense General Staff, the UNIFIL former commander. General Osman discussed with General Graziano the security situation in Lebanon, the tasks entrusted to the Internal Security Forces, and looked into ways of cooperation between the security services in the two countries, as well as the efforts made to make this conference a success. On the other hand, Graziano expressed "his appreciation for the security achievements by the Internal Security Forces, and the great security role played by this institution." During the meeting, the two parties exchanged commemorative shields. |
