Kuwait's DGCA, Boeing discuss bolstering cooperation

19/09/2017

KUWAIT-- Head of Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Sheikh Salman Al-Humoud Al-Sabah discussed with President of Boeing Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey, Bernie Dunn, ways of enhancing joint cooperation, said a statement by the DGCA Tuesday.

Civil Aviation said in a statement that the meeting, held in Kuwait, focused on cooperation in the fields of training and development to raise the efficiency of management staffs and increase the productivity of the operating sectors.

Boeing was founded on July 15, 1916 and is currently one of the world's largest companies in the field of civil and military aircraft manufacturing, where the company has unlimited support from the US government.

Kuwait Airways, the national carrier, has entered into a purchase agreement for 10 Boeing ER 777-300 aircraft to implement the five-year work plan and change strategy announced by Kuwait in September 2016.
