Tourism forum from 25th





MUSCAT — Mohammed bin Hamoud al Toobi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, will hold a press conference today during which he will shed light on a tourism forum entitled Hams al Sahab to be held by the ministry in the Niyabat of Al Jabal al Akhdhar in the Al Dakhliyah region from August 25 to 29. Al Toobi will highlight the forum’s goals, including ways of domestic tourism, highlighting tourism potentials and utilising fruit harvest season at Al Jabal al Akhdhar.

He will review the forum’s major cultural activities that include popular traditional arts from the governorates and regions, music bands of various Sultan’s Armed Forces divisions and cultural and recreational competitions. Al Toobi will also unveil major events to be held on the sidelines of the forum, including a tourism promotional manual on Al Jabal al Akhdhar and exhibitions of traditional craft industries of the people of Al Jabal al Akhdhar and social, tourism and hotel institutions and establishments in the region.
