Italian journalist praises Kuwait's Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015

27/08/2015

MILAN -- A famous Italian journalist expressed her admiration to the success of Kuwait's Pavilion at Expo Milan 2015 for beautifully showcasing the Gulf country's history: past, present and future.

Mariella Tanzarella, a journalist at the well-known Italian newspaper "La Repubblica," lauded Kuwait's humanitarian efforts that reached many parts of the world; a humanitarian assistance that gained His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah a UN honor.

Moreover, "School Project" is one of the highlights of this six-month long expo. It is an educational project aims at schools in Italy and elsewhere, and has been developed in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Education, local universities, research institutes, and the Italian Pavilion at Expo.

The project focuses on informing children, which are the future generation, on the right to healthy, safe, and sufficient food for all. It engages them, through meaningful experiences, to become responsible citizens.
