Kuwait reiterates support to Arab culture

ALGERIES: Kuwait's Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Humoud Al- Sabah reiterated Kuwait's support to joint Arab action on all levels. The State of Kuwait supports joint action that leads to the unity and strength of the Arab countries on all levels, Sheikh Salman said. "This is a major principle of Kuwait's foreign policy," he stressed before leaving Algeria yesterday.

The Kuwaiti Minister had arrived in Algeria on Wednesday where he attended celebrations of the 'Constantine, Capital of Arab Culture 2015' that took place yesterday. Sheikh Salman, also chairman of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL), underlined the momentousness of combining Arab efforts, especially by intellectual, men of letters and thinkers, to highlight the bright image of the Arab culture to reinforce constructive and development thinking. Sheikh Salman and his accompanying delegation were seen off by the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Algeria Dr Saud Faisal Al-Duwaish and embassy's officials.
