Abdullah bin Zayed receives US Congressional delegation

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, here yesterday received in his office at the Ministry, the US Congressional delegation, currently visiting the country.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed friendship ties between the U.A.E. and the US, and ways to strengthen them in the best interest of two countries, especially in the parliamentary, economic, investment and tourism sectors. They also explored promising opportunities, and exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments of mutual concern.

Sheikh Abdullah stressed the importance of bilateral relations, and ways to enhance them in all fields, referring to the significance of such visits in exchanging expertise, and parliamentary experiences in both countries.

For its part, the congressional delegation praised the progress being experienced by the U.A.E. in all fields, citing the country's international image, thanks to wisdom of the U.A.E. leadership for highlighting the country's role at the international level.
