Prince Alwaleed Inaugurates “Kingdom Center for Assisted Reproductive Technology for IVF” in Kingdom Hospital
HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), Chairman and Founder of Kingdom Hospitals (KH) inaugurated Kingdom Hospital Center for Assisted Reproductive Technology in the presence of the medical and administrative team of Kingdom Hospital that was headed by Dr. Fayez Takieddine, Executive Director, Kingdom Hospital and Consulting Clinics.
While touring the new center, Prince Alwaleed commended Kingdom Hospital leadership on establishing such a center equipped with the latest technology and state-of-the-art embryology laboratory coupled with a highly qualified medical care team specialized in reproductive endocrinology, infertility and embryology.
Prince Alwaleed also commended the design of the center that takes into consideration the privacy and comfort level of all patients. Kingdom Hospital’s Center for Assisted Reproductive Technology provides a comprehensive range of safe and effective treatment modalities for couples struggling with infertility. Services include intrauterine insemination, testicular sperm extraction, In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), as well embryo cryopreservation in compliance with Islamic Shariah. In addition to that, the center offers advanced laparoscopic techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of infertility.
Dr. Takieddine said that the center is designed and equipped according to the highest international standards and the latest technology in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility and assisted reproduction techniques supported with systems for quality control to ensure the highest degree of accuracy for the achievement of the best outcomes. He added that the center has a special IVF information system that guarantees the privacy and confidentiality of the patients’ data and is equipped with a cutting-edge digital embryology laboratory. The embryology laboratory is designed and constructed with a special air filtering system that eliminates toxic organic molecules which negatively affects embryo development.

HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), received at his office in Riyadh, HRH Prince Abdulrahman Bin Mosaad Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Al-Hilal Saudi Football Club.
The meeting was also attended by Mr. Fahad Bin Saad Bin Nafel, Executive Assistant to HRH the chairman.
During the meeting Prince Alwaleed and Prince Abdulrahman discussed the latest updates of Al-Hilal and their achievements. Prince Alwaleed stressed the need to support sports and the athletes as well as the development of clubs in Saudi Arabia and to embrace the young generation to hone their athletic skills and invest their time in useful activities.
In conclusion to the meeting, Prince Abdulrahman thanked Prince Alwaleed for his support and his constant encouragement to clubs and sport federations in Saudi Arabia.
Furthermore, Prince Alwaleed expressed how vital it is to encourage youth by supporting their talent and investing in their future through various sport activities. Prince Alwaleed is well known for his continuous contributions to sports locally and regionally.
Prince Alwaleed had supported Al-Hilal on various occasions that included SR10 million for the coming four seasons (SR2.5 million annually). Prince Alwaleed also gave each player in Alhilal and Al-Ittihad club SR20,000 after they had reached the quarter final of AFC league. In addition, Prince Alwaleed had granted Al-Hilal SR1 million as an award for leading the Saudi Professional League (SPL). Also, Prince Alwaleed awarded two Bentley cars to Captain Sami Al-Jaber for his contribution to Al-Hilal and to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
