Benghazi to write ‘Libya’ with a building?

November 05, 2013
“Libya” might one day be writ large in Benghazi. –

Ashraf Abdul Wahab

TRIPOLI – It may still only be a twinkle in an architect’s eye, but Benghazi could one day be home to “the largest Arabic word in the world” in the shape of a stunning building that spells out the name “Libya”.

The outline plans were published this week for this remarkable structure, which would house a five-star hotel, offices, apartments and a shopping mall.
