Naim Khattar dies in Sydney

It is with great sadness that the Directors of Dyldam announce the sad passing of Mr. Naim Khattar. Mr. Khattar passed peacefully yesterday afternoon.

Should you wish to pay your respects to the family, condolences will be received at Our Lady of Lebanon Church, 40 Alice Street, Harris Park, from 6pm – 9pm today and tomorrow.

Mr. Khattar Snr.’s funeral will be held on Thursday 24th October at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lebanon.

The "Middle East Times" received with sadness and pain, the news of the death of Naim Khattar, who knew and lived giving, sacrifice and faith throughout his life, whether in the service of his beloved homeland Lebanon and his hometown Hadchit, both very dear to his heart, or in service to his second home, Australia.  He also was committed to instilling faith and morals in the minds and hearts of his children and grandchildren.

In respect of this great loss, the management of "Middle East Times" pass on our condolences and sympathy to the family and the children of the deceased, especially to his son, Joe Khattar, The Chairman of the Australian Lebanese Chamber of Commerce (ALCC). We ask Almighty God to grant the deceased dear Naim Khattar rest in peace and peace in eternal life.
