Prince Alwaleed Meets President of the Ivorian Parliament at George V, Paris

HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) met with HE Mr. Guillaume Kigbafori Soro, President of the Ivorian Parliament (National Assembly of Côte D'Ivoire) and Former Prime Minister of Côte D'Ivoire at the George V Hotel Four Seasons, Paris.

The meeting began as Prince Alwaleed welcomed Mr. Soro and discussed economic and social issues related to their respective countries, in addition to His Highness's philanthropic activities in Africa.

Also, Mr. Soro thanked the Prince for his cooperation to strengthen the bilateral economic relationship between the two countries.

In 2006, Prince Alwaleed visited the Côte d'Ivoire and met President Laurent Gbagbo at that time. During the visit, Prince Alwaleed was bestowed “The Commander of the National Order of the Grand Cross Star Medal” by the President in recognition and acknowledgment of His Highnesses investments and humanitarian contributions to Africa.

The Prince had also visited the Côte d'Ivoire in 2005. During that visit Prince Alwaleed was given an honorary citizenship and the key to the city of Abidjan that was presented to Prince Alwaleed by the Governor of Abidjan, Cote D'ivoire.
