BEIRUT: Interior Ministry undersecretaries in the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council discussed during a meeting in the Saudi capital Riyadh Sunday means to implement the GCC’s decisions on measures against Hezbollah’s members in GCC states.

The undersecretaries have adopted recommendations that will be presented to the GCC’s interior ministers for approval.

GCC Secretary General Abdel-Latif bin Rashed Zayani said the Interior Ministry undersecretaries would also study the appropriate mechanism for implementing the decisions in coordination with the relevant agencies, including the Trade ministries and the central banks in GCC states.

The GCC, which condemned Hezbollah’s military intervention in Syria, announced in June that it would take measures against Hezbollah loyalists’ residencies as well as against their financial and trade transactions.
