NSW Premier Barry O’Farrell was today presented with a signed Australian women’s cricket shirt by Indian-born World Cup-winning captain Lisa Sthelekar as thanks for his support of the team.
The Premier sent each member of the team a hand-written note congratulating them on their victory.

Mr O’Farrell was thrilled to receive the shirt and it will take pride of place in his office.
“It was an honour to receive to gift from Lisa. She’s a great role model, especially for young women,” he said.
