Kingdom Tower Lights Off in Support of Earth Hour

Kingdom Centre, a significant local investment of Kingdom Company (KHC), chaired by HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud announced that Kingdom Tower, Riyadh participated in the global initiative Earth Hour by switching its lights off for an hour yesterday Saturday 23rd March 2013. Hundreds of millions of people, businesses and governments around the world unite each year to support the largest environmental event in history “Earth Hour”.

Earth Hour was observed in more than 7000 cities, towns and municipalities in more than 150 countries and territories, with many of the world’s best known human and natural landmarks going dark as the backdrop to a multitude of “beyond the hour” activities and initiatives generating outcomes for the movement and the planet on which we live.

Kingdom Centre has supported other environmental and humanitarian initiatives such as Autism Day, Breast Cancer Awareness and United Nations Day.
